STC Ed presents

Actor on a Box: The Red and White Spotted Handkerkchief

By Tony Mitton
Jack wraps his last crust of bread in a red and white spotted handkerchief and sets off to seek adventure and along the way finds mermaids, dragons, magic keys and genies. Full of delightful poetry, this is a tale for anyone who has ever dreamt of running away.

About Actor on a Box
Gather round and hear a tale...

Actor On A Box is designed to introduce the magic of theatre to our youngest audiences. Combining classic storytelling, physical theatre and a whole bag of fun, Actor On A Box is a joyful and enticing theatrical ride into timeless tales told by fine actors.

Staged in the beautiful Richard Wherrett Studio at the Sydney Theatre, these fun, intimate and interactive performances will delight families with well known tales made manifest by the finest of STC's theatre artists. After successful exploration and presentation in 2009, we are proud to present two exemplary tales for children in our inaugural STC Ed's Actor On A Box Series.
