Awareness Through Movement Workshop
"Awareness Through Movement workshops can produce an astounding change in the mind and body, used to reduce pain, increase flexibility and disorganise our bodily patterns of stress and the experience of stress itself." Peter Binns
Leading Australian Feldenkrais practitioner, Peter Binns, will visit Sydney to teach this Awareness Through Movement workshop. This workshop is designed specifically with athletes, dancers, musicians and anyone who relies on the quality of movement for their livelihood.
The Feldenkrais method is internationally recognised for its remarkable ability to access the power of the nervous system to create change and improvement. As a proven and sophisticated integration of movement, science, neuroscience and psychology, it creates the necessary conditions for new, healthy and effective patterns of thinking, moving, feeling and acting to emerge in people of all ages.
Peter Binns is the Founder and Director of the Australian Feldenkrais Center in Melbourne with over 20 years experience both here and overseas. Peter has worked with thousands of people including some of Australia's leading musicians, dancers, Olympic athletes, world champion extreme athletes and many others, also people suffering from acute and chronic pain both with one-on-one Functional Integration and group Awareness Through Movement workshops and classes.
This workshop will focus on learning how to make every aspect of movement easy and pleasurable, which in turn creates lightness of being and increased, effortless energy.
